I suck I know!!

Man! Worst blogger ever! I always say I am going to be better, so I'm not going to say it this time.

We are in the process of getting the inside of our house painted and I CAN NOT wait til it's done! This is our first big house project and I am so excited to see how it turns out!

Feeling Like an Olympian

We have REALLY enjoyed watching the Olympics

We are so sad that it is over (seriously there is nothing on tv now)

As I spent everyday (allday) these past 2 weeks watching everything,  I mean everything, water polo? bad mitten? rhythmic gymnastics? I have realized a few things..

1. I am more patriotic during Olympics.. I should take pride in my country more then I do.

2. In my next life I WILL be a Olympic gymnast, or one of the FAB FIVE

3. I LOVE Misty May Treanor & Karie Walsh Jennings. Their beach bods are ridiculous. I am Jealous.

4. Jett will be the next Michael Phelps  (a momma can hope!)

5. I love the Royal family even more! I love British people even more! I am now a fan of Team GBR

6. Missy Franklin is too PERFECT. Seriously she needs to be my friend. I feel like she would make me feel so great about myself!

7. I want a Gold medal.

8. I really want to go to London. I think that I might really like it there. (I secretly want to be British)

9. Ralph Lauren should never be able to design the Olympians opening/closing ceremonies anymore.

10. One Direction and Spice girls performing was the best decision the Olympic committee made!



What was everyone else's favorite events? Did anyone else fall more in love with England? What is everyone watching now that the Olympics are over?

5 Months Old



• Started rolling over last month just every now and then, but now he rolls over every time he is put down.
• He really enjoys cereal, and cant wait til he can eat more yummy food.
• Teething like crazy, still cant break a tooth through..
• Sleeps all night which is awesome! BUT he hardly takes a nap dring the day when he is home!
• Likes to be scared! thats when he laughs the most.
• Started getting the hang of his bouncer seat!
• Wants mom and dads attention all the time.
• Laughs when mom gets on to him.
• Toots and then laughs when he knows someone noticed.
• Always has a smile on his face.
• Has a little bit of a congestion problem.. but nothing to be alarmed about.
• Likes to cuddle with mom while he sleeps
• He is a pro at Facetime!
• Loves listening to music.
• Olympic Swimmer in training. Next Michael Phelps
• LOVES the tv.

These past 5 Months I have shed many tears, slept very little, been thrown up on a billion times and had many times where I thought I was going to break! That is until Jett gives me that sweet little smile I remember how incredibly blessed I am. Bring on the next 5 months! :)

We have a teether

Jett has started teething....

He started out by just drooling..... ALOT. (as you can see in this picture) Cant even tell you how many bibs/clothes we go through because of his drooling. It's out of control!

He became a fan of Sophie the Giraffe. It seems to be the only toy he doesn't get frustrated with.

Now he is onto his fingers... nothing helps more then a finger in his mouth rubbing his gums! He literally puts everyone else's fingers in his mouth just to have some relief. I put orajel on his gums all the time and use teething tablets as well. But that darn tooth just wont break through and he is starting to get uncomfortable, which is never good. I don't know if there is a better thing to use for teething? I feel like i have done everything there is...

If anyone knows anything that helps better then the "normal" teething products.. PLEASE let me know!

For those that know me pretty well, know that I have always been a fan of Boy Bands. So when E had the episode " 15 Awesomest Boy Bands" I had to tune in. Here are the bands that made the Top 5!

kick kick kick

It has been awhile since my last update. I havent had much motivation, seriously I have been incredibly lazy these past couple of weeks, just check out my house. yikes!

Sunday I went to do laundry and noticed that our washer was not working right. It seemed like it wasnt draining. I came to that conclusion when I opened the door and it was full of soap! I guess it doenst take a rocket scientest to figure that one out right?

I REALLY REALLY REALLY hate doing laundry, it literally pains me to do it! So whenever the washer started acting up I was secretly happy, but because Jake was in DIRE need of some fresh undies, Jake suggested that we go to his parents house to get it done, he said " we will just take it there, drop it off and leave Jett there as our payment for doing the laundry"-- Dont worry Lisa and everyone else, I quickly said No dont think so!

We went over there and it did take all day like I expected it too, but while we were waiting we got to do some swimming! Here are some pics from our day at the pool!

So we say Thank You Laundry for letting us have a fun filled sunday full of swimming, and not letting us do this all day: (He's watching tv :/ )

amarillo fun

This past weekend Jett and I went to Amarillo to visit my family while Jake went spear fishing! We had a great time, here are some pictures from our very fun visit back in A-Town!

Heather gave Jett his first Orange at Breakfast Saturday morning! He REALLY liked it!

Lauren joined us for breakfast! we loved seeing aunt lauren!

Austin thought he needed to hold Jett while we were shopping at the mall. it was cute until Jett got stuck.. oops.

We had a fun time in Amarillo! Lots of eating and shopping! 2 of my favorite things :)
